“The breakfasts were passable. The room was great, very clean and very comfortable. But what earns this hotel the highest rating is the staff. I had my wallet stolen during our stay in St. Petersburg (be very attentive!). The staff (especially Kiseniya) really went out of their way to ensure that I got a police report number for insurance purposes. And dealing with Russian police is not the most pleasant experience. The location, close to Nevsky Prospekt, is also ideal. St Petersburg is wonderful. The staff at this hotel equally so.”
