“We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our trip around Tanzania and ended up adding an extra night here at the end of our trip as well. The staff were friendly and super helpful - they arranged a snorkeling trip for us, happy to let us keep a room for late check out, quick to bring extra towels, etc. It was great to have pick up from the airport and then we ended up also using the same driver for most of the rest of our stay, he had a good van, was a safe driver, informative, and reasonably priced. Beds were comfortable, good showers, decent breakfast, clean pool. Our kids enjoyed jumping off the wall into the sea at high tide. At low tide it was super interesting to explore the mangroves and go for a walk along the shore and see the local fisherman laying out their sardines to dry. We enjoyed being just a little out of Stonetown so it didn't feel as touristy.”
