“A nice little hotel close to Peter and Paul Fortress, on the Petrogradsky side (metro station Gorkovskaya is only 300m away though it is not the most convenient to always take metro). My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights and we liked it a lot. The room (No 1) was rather big, with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Very clean. Our room was the only one with balcony in the whole hotel, and the first when climbing the steps to the first floor - so it was not difficult to bring our luggage up. The stairway and corridor very nice, while reception is tiny at the ground floor. Girls at the reception were very nice and friendly, notably Elena. The restaurant on the ground floor is absolutely perfect. Our breakfast there was very good (included salmon, porridge, cakes, etc.) and we had dinner twice – among the best ever in my life on both quality of food and the way it was served, with very moderate and acceptable price for such a high quality (and even 10% discount for hotel guests).”
