“Previously I stayed in 5 star hotels in Bucharest and I must say that Mercure is even better - the staff speaks excellent English and they literally preempt your needs. Also there is a security guard outside at the front door, so if you are up in the night and want to go for a quick cigarette you are super safe.”

“The room was a very good value. The locations was great. We had a large room with a comfortable bed with plenty of pillow. The person at the reception desk upgraded our room to a premium king after first giving us a queen (we booked twins). In the morning the clerk at the reception desk gave us a coupon to use to get a very good breakfast for 10 euros, then stored our luggage for the day. Later when we picked us our luggage they called a very reasonable taxi for us.”

“Mercure is located in between Universitate and Victoreie roads, a bit further from old city, yet close enough and also close to many restaurants, shops. The hotel offers underground parking, but street parking is also possible in this area. Rooms are clean and relatively new. (Opened in 2014 or so). Reception is available 24/7 which is convenient for late check-ins.”
“The theme of the hotel was very cute with the musical notes and instruments everywhere, and the hotel location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. What truly made this stay great was the helpfulness of the staff, who delivered anything we asked for quicker than anything we've experienced at hotels in other parts of the world including the US, and the quality of the breakfast, which was delicious!”
