“In the town centre and about 10 mins walk from Reading railway station. Most staff were friendly but one receptionist was having a bad day. No smile or welcome. Room was clean and tidy. A kettle was found in the drawer. I would use again”
“The hotel is smack bang in the middle of town and on the doorstep of many shops, bars and restaurants. It’s an old building but the staff gave me a large room on the ground floor as I’d had a recent knee operation and climbing stairs is currently difficult. There wasn’t any natural light in the room but it was quiet, clean an spacious with s small fridge and good shower so suited my needs perfectly for my 1 night stay. I got a great price of £45 for the Friday night through booking.com so was happy”
