The family are some of the kindest people I have met during my time in Sri Lanka, nothing is too much trouble and they always make me feel so welcome and looked after. The food is amazing, so delicious and the portions are huge, you will never go hungry! This place goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The property is in a peaceful location and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Wifi is strong and fast and you are in walking distance to the main bus stop. What more could you ask for! “We got a very warm welcome, with flowers, cake and tea! The room was very clean and a nice size. Renting bicycles was easy, and the bikes had dynamo lights on for coming home after sunset. ”

The rooms are very nice, clean with great beds. The food is really delicious!!! You won't get better in Sri Lanka. Besides that, Mihintale is a lovely village with nice things to do. Koshala can tell you where to go. He will even go with you to show exactly where to go! For visiting Anuradhapura Koshala can help you to get in touch with Amara. “The staff is really incredible and will treat you like royals. Free tea or a juice, arranging everything you wish and more. Even though I have travelled a lot, this was a total new experience for me. We can recommend going on a trip with Amara, a passionate guide and tuktuk driver who will take you to places of the beaten track as well as the famous temples. Our children called this place home because that is how they made us feel, they loved the big garden to play in...but most of all Ashoka as their new friend!
