“We have been traveling in Spain for 5 weeks, and the Monasterio de San Miguel is the best place we have stayed yet. Best bed (king size and felt new) best comfy cotton sheets, best bathroom (2 sinks), best water pressure and temperature in the shower, best authentic atmosphere. They up graded us to a junior suite, so we had a sitting room too...way cool. We initially a 1 nite stay that we expanded to 3 nites and used this as a base to explore Santilucar & Cadiz. Wonderful old convent made into a classy period authentic hotel. Great staff too; they eagerly got ice for my foot (still some pain from walking the Camino). Beautiful peaceful courtyard with a foundation on the first floor. Very quiet. Very clean.”
