“Fantastic location. Arrived early and asked if we could leave luggage while we went shopping. The girl on reception said our rooms were ready and checked us in early. The staff were very friendly and helpful and appeared to really care that were were enjoying our stay. While the building retained what appeared to be the original windows there was an additional layer of glazing which cut out 99% of the street noise and kept the room nice and cozy. The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was fantastic. A large shower head with great pressure helped ease tired muscles after walking around Edinburgh all day. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and looking forward to returning soon.”

“Perfect location, station and airport bus 5min walk. Easy to get to sights and shops, restaurants etc. Comfortable room and good size bathroom. Breakfast selection was good continental style but only hot, warm food was boiled egg. No porridge is the Scottish capital!!”
