“Great central location - walking distance to main historic centre and some good restaurants and bars . Secure parking a bonus but try to park just outside hotel and pop in and chap will guide you to the garage - it's just opposite hotel but in a no entry street - if you go past hotel you will have to follow the one way system around again. If you are a nervous driver beware, entrance down to parking bay is quite steep and you need to go for it to get out ! But not really a problem.”

“Newly refurbished hotel in a good location close to the town centre. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious and the reception staff are very helpful. Secure parking is a short walk away. There are some minor works still taking place in the public areas, but this did not affect our stay. We would certainly stay here again.”

“We have returned again and again to this wonderful hotel. It is always welcoming, the rooms clean, comfortable beds with clean white sheets and great bathroom. This time we knew that the lifts were being serviced before we arrived, but that made very little difference as we were on the first floor. We also got a free continental breakfast due to the inconvenience.”
