Important Notice
- Please note that until 29 October 2017 and from 5 May until 30 May 2018, only breakfast is offered. The restaurant is closed in the evening. Guests can enjoy a meal at the neighboring Kirchenwirt, located 50 yards away.

“The location is great! It is a long way up in the hills, but the time spent is worth it. The hotel reception, restaurant and some other facilites were under some works, so I could not enjoy all of them. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Traditional, rustic decoration. However they offered me 10% discount in the restaurant next door. Breakfast was included with the room with juices, cereals, coffee, toasts... nothing to complain about. The staff was so helpful through my stay.”

There's plenty of outdoor activities to do in the surrounding area. The town has an interesting history and the hotel is right smack in the center. “The hotel is at the heart of the Alps. No words can describe mountain beauty. The staff is simply the best (look at the photo in booking.com). Smiling girls in dirndl's proved most helpful. Take bus to the Franz-Josef hoche, the stop is beside the hotel. And be warned, take some carrots with you, there will be dire need for them ;-)”
