“The hotel just opened 8 months ago and it is really nice for the niveau in thailand. The rooms are spacious and clean with some little defaults (shower curtain, lights, pool). We stayed there for one night on our way from singapore to koh lipe and it was perfect for this occasion. You can find a great all you can eat Buffet at the shopping mall tower (level 33) just around the corner with a nice view for just 190 baht (if you manage the way up, which can be a bit tricky :)). And some nice shops are there too. Compared to other locations on the coast it is really cheap in hat yai but i wouldn't stay much longer than a night. The hotel staff organised a mini van and ferry tickets to koh lipe for us for 800 baht per person (departure at 8.30, ferry at 11.30, arrival at 13.10). Really nice and worked out fine.”
