“The on site staff, though not speaking much English, went out of their way to be helpful. As promised, we were shuttled to Gampaha station in the morning in no time”

“We were picked up from the Airport eben if we were 5h late. The employees were really nice and try to organize train tickets for the next day. We cannot say anything about the area because we choose this hotel only because of its location between airport and train station. Next day we were brought to the train by the friendly staff. The breakfast was ok. Tea and toast with jam.”

“Good customer service, we were on the flight after midnight & picked up by staff from the airport without problem. We also were dropped off at Gampaha station to Kandy in the morning without extra cost and our tickets were reserved in advance by the hotel. Tharanga-the owner?- he also informed us about what to do and what to avoid during our trip in Sri Lanka & kindly followed up that our journey on the train to Kandy was ok. Hotel is less than 10 mins by car to Gampaha Station where the train to Kandy stops, no need to travel backward to Colombo Fort Station. Basic room was ok for a short stay. Breakfast in room was fine to us.”

“We stayed here only one night,but it was really nice. The rooms are very spacious, actually what is described as as double room can easily be room for 4 persons, because the beds are really large. The equipment of the room is simple, but everything clean, the beds extremly comfortable! In the morning we got delicious local breakfast for adults and toast bread for kids.”

“This hotel Is all about Customer service and location. The room Is basic and there is no much to do around but if you are searching for a place to crash after your flight, new vIntop is a perfect location to avoid Colombo (Gampaha is on the way to Kandy) Tharanga the manager came to pick us up at the airport late at night and make sure we had everything we needed to have a good night. The next morning, he took us to the train station, book our tickets and assured we jumped on the right train! Once on the train, I realized I forgot my neckless in the room and Tharanga has been amazing enough to bring it back to me at the end of my trip before I took the flight back home. He is the kindess person I've met in Sri lanka and you are surely on good hands with him! Thanks again for everything and good luck!!”

“We were heading straight to Kandy and didn't want to go in to Colombo first. So we decided on the New Vintop Hotel in Gampaha. We couldn't ask for a better welcome to the country. Thiranga and his family are such beautiful people and went so far out of there way to help us (including when we missed a train!) Rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and nothing makes a hotel better than the people you meet. Thank you Thiranga and Thilini!”
