“Our stay at Ocean View was excellent, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and the staff had excellent knowledge of the area and the surrounding areas - there is a train that goes past directly outside the venue but that didnt dampen anything - they were not that frequent and only took a few seconds to pass. The food was always brilliant and the beach is a stone throw away - the view was wonderful and the beach was great. Would highly recommend staying here - would definitely go again! They were really helpful for booking local day tours to Hikkaduwa and Galle as well as local boat trips. And the breakfast was something else; waking up every morning to the beach views with a selection of local fruits, a pot of Ceylon tea, a fruit smoothie and fried eggs on toast all presented with a beaming smile :-)”
