“John n michelle looked after us. After a day of mountain biking in the snow, the "captain" and the team were so friendly and genourous. Great food,,great location, friendly staff all made the weekend a memorable one. We will be back with our flower garlands again. Thanks for looking after us. See ya soon j”

“Great family run country pub with excellent friendly staff throughout. The room was great for us and was perfect for our night away. The Halloween theme they have Right now is just amazing with all of the decorations. They told me Xmas is even more extreme so can't wait to return to see that. The owner Gilly was a great guy. Sorry Gill I didn't see Dave (he wasn't there!) at the beer fest to request your barrels for Tuesday but I did try! This is a charming 400 year old building out in the countryside so don't expect it to be a city centre place full of mod cons. We didn't eat dinner here so can't comment on that but breakfast was a decent hangover cure. Thanks to all at The Silent, will see you again soon.”
