“This is a small regional hotel located in Xiahe. The famous Labrang monastary is just across the road. easy access to the grasslands. The hosst speaks excellent English and is extremely helpful and welcoming This isn't so much a hotel, as a travel agency hub for the whole area. They orgabised transfer to and from lanzhou airport for us and also a trip up to the grasslands. Both worked out very well Facilities are those that you would expect for a small regional hotel and are clean and tidy Very happy to recommend. This is a fascinating and beautiful part of China”

“Very nice place for staying near Labrang monastery. Room and bathroom was clean, warm and confortable. Monastery kora started two minutes from hotel. Manager was so helpful. And we liked yak yougurt in breakfast :)”

“It is hard to imagine having better hotel in Xiahe! This hotel offers everything: clean and comfortable rooms, perfect beds, nice bathroom, TV even with news chanel in english and a good choice of english movies, very friendly staff, heating, stable warm water. The very best is the location because it is just about 100 metres to the Labrang Monastery! Also the owner is very friendly and helpful, he was doing his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible, he also recommended us a great hot pot restaurant. If we return to Xiahe one day, then we definitely stay here again!”

“The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was soft, the breakfast was yummy, and the location is right next to the monastery. In addition to the hotel restaurant there are several other restaurants in the immediate area. The staff is kind and helpful, and the owner (Losang) is fantastic and speaks fluent English. He was sooo helpful in planning my trip, and you can hire a car through the hotel to go several different places. I really recommend the Ganjia Gasslands! He can also arrange bike rental, and can give you ideas on where to go. He also takes time out of his day to take guests on a gorgeous hike up to the hills behind the monastery where you have the most amazing view. Definitely ask him about doing this!”
