“We always feel like we've come home when we step inside The Overton. It makes a nice place to "come home to" after a long drive to Lubbock. We try to stay only at this hotel when we go see our Red Raider. Staff is great here, always willing to help. They sometimes even upgrade our rooms (we're regulars by now!) if it's a slow night and they can (although it's usually booked pretty solidly). Rooms are usually spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Restaurant is nice. Concierge lounge is nice. We like to sit outside in front by the fire pits, too. Location is perfect, so close to Texas Tech campus and to every place we like to go during our visit to Lubbock.”
