“The room was warm ,comfortable with great art and probably the most comfortable mattress ,for a hotel,that I have ever slept on . We arrived with bikes on the roof rack. The staff stored them securely inside the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them ! The breakfast was excellent ranging from croissants ,cakes ,cereal ,fruit, ham and fresly squeezed orange juice. The manager also gave us a discount voucher for the cine restaurant next door (Good food and very reasonable !) I can thoroughly recommend the hotel for character ,position ,good value and friendly staff .”

“The location is within the walls and just down the street from the main square, so easy to walk around the lovely old town, Staff is nice, check in was very swift. The room is not big but nice looking, comfy bed. We were happy about the minibar in the room, to have some cool water. We found parking on nearby streets with some searches - in the evening some street slots free up, plus parking is free during night (check parkmeter for actual info). During the day it could be a hassle but we drove to other places outside Avila, so can't tell.”

“The ancient building as the hotel within the city walls. Easy access to areas of interest. The hotel décor was in keeping with the area. No evening meal available but a discount at nearby restaurant. The breakfast was generous and enjoyable. Good value for money, would use again.”
