“We stayed in the Villa's complex which is separate from the Cabanas and we preferred this. The restaurant breakfast was good and ate there one evening as well which was also good. They also have a daily specials board. The rooms were good clean, well laid out and spacious. We went out of season and it was very quite and the small beach was great. Sea is rough and not great for weaker swimmers. There was food and drinks available from a few bars, not connected to the resort. We rented a moped 1500LKR (check the lights work though) and explored the other beaches to the east. These were amazing. The resort guys helped with getting the moped and there was Tutu Drivers outside who took us most local places for 200LKR local currency.”
“The hotel is actually divided in 2. The cabines and the villas. We stayed in the villa with attic. If you stay in the villa you have breakfast near the pool. The villa was beautiful, new, clean. The swimming pool much nicer than it looks like on the picture. Both restaurants serve good food.”
“A great place to stay. Cabanas are spacious and well equipped. Facilities are excellent to the massage on offer was fantastic and a bargain. Would def recommend.”
“Myself and my fiancee loved our stay at the Palm Paradise Cabanas (PPC), wish if we could have stayed longer. The staff are really nice and made us feel very well looked after, they go out of their way to please the guests, anything you need will be catered for. Nimal, one of the staff were particularly helpful and made sure our stay was pleasent one. So thank you Nimal. As for the Cabanas, they are well maintained and kept very clean. We had some reservations about them not having A/C but it wasn't a issue at all. We slept pretty well and the cabanas were surprisingly cool. The food here was also really good and definitely at the same league as some of the top restaurants in Tangalle which we also tried. Although PPC is lot cheaper. Its a quite place perfect for spending couple of weeks if you just want relax and enjoy the beach.”
“Staff is correct, but not very friendly. Pool is a bit far away from the cabanas, kind of small and not very nice. Cabanas in the middle of lush gardens are great though. Beach is a bit small although almost only for hotel guests.”
