“The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food was reasonably priced and tasty.”

“The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful during check in. We had checked in at 9pm after a long drive and were pleased to have a couple of drinks downstairs before going to bed. The plan was to stay at this hotel overnight before going to the Hunter Valley the following day to stay at much more expensive accommodation for a few nights. The room was clean and basic. The bathroom facilities were directly across from us and were also very clean. The staff were also very helpful the next morning when we explained what had happened during the night and refunded our money. They were also going to kick out the offenders that morning.”

“There's no toilet and bathroom in the room????Aircon is not working. Tried to cancel my booking .Was told to wait for the manager to talk to us. Didnt get to talk to her/him. We just walked out and stayed at the motel next door.Didn't get any money back waste of time and money.”

“I wasn't expecting to share bathroom, but for the price and for 1 night, I didn't mind. The facilities were clean and close to my room with great hot water, etc. I thought it might have been a noisy night with lots of young folks around and with the band playing downstairs, but once the band finished around 11pm, it was peaceful. ("Two to the Floor" were a good duo, by the way). Seriously needs a new lampshade! And there were a couple of stains on the bedding (doona cover and matching pillow cases), I think they were old stains because the linen smelled fresh, but off-putting nevertheless (which is why I don't like bedspreads or doona covers!) I would stay here again when in the area. I met some friends and we had dinner there, which was fine for a family restaurant/bistro menu. Oh and the heating of my room was excellent on a really chilly night!”
