“Clean and tidy, delicious breakfast and dinner, friendly staff”
“Pension is about 30-minute ride from the airport (around 3500 yen by taxi), in a quite area between Ishigaki downtown (about 30 minutes walk, 10 minutes by bicycle; you can take a ferry to nearest islands there) and posh resorts and villas (also around 30 minute walk; there's a small part of the beach there not yet occupied by hotels, but there's extensive constructions in the area, so I guess this beach will be gone soon). Room was clean and spacey (for Japan) with a nice sea view from the balcony. Staff was easy to communicate. Breakfast and dinner are quite early (7 to 8 am breakfast and 7 pm dinner), which is understandable, because there's not much to do here after sunset. Meals are quite good, with local ingredients and fresh sashimi almost every night.”

“We spent 5 nights in Ishigaki, and stayed here for the last 2 nights because we planned to travel around the island before leaving Ishigaki so we didn't need to spend much time in a room. The tatami room was simple, bathroom was tiny but we understand it is japanese standard. The most memorable part of this place is their staffs. All the staffs and owner's family were kind and friendly. We are especially grateful to Naoko who can speak English and Korean. She is cute just like a character popped up from Japanese manga and always helped us when we were needed. I definitely recommend this accomodation if you are seeking a value for money place.”
