“The staff was very friendly, polite and kind. Given the language barrier (and I did do my best to communicate) it was hard to tell what the rules were - Did I need to make a reservation for dinner at the hotel? Did they have a local beach that they worked with?The answer to both were Yes. I had to ask a lot of questions, the information wasn't necessary available. However, they were always willing to help. Great housekeeping staff and Great food too!”

“This is the second time we have stayed at the Piccolo Hotel. The last time was in 2003. It remains a lovely, comfortable place which has benefitted from the addition of a beautiful pool in the gardens. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The bed was amazingly comfortable and our room had a lovely view of the sea. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, breakfast was very nice and had a variety of different fresh fruit every day. We really love this traditional Italian hotel in fabulous Forte dei Marmi and plan to go back again soon.”

“I booked this place last-minute, so wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean and quaint, with a charming private balcony overlooking the mountains. The property has a pool on-site and is just one block away from the beaches (you simply exit the rear of the property and cross the street). They partner with a local beach club to offer a good rate to Piccolo guests for a day's chair and umbrella rental (I found an option for 35 euros). Breakfast is included at the hotel stay, and it was a nice buffet, complete with table service for coffee. The hotel is located just a few blocks down from the town center, and it has a few bicycles that they loan out to customers, if available. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.”
