“Husband and I lived in Ayrshire for 52 years. Relocated to Aberdeenshire to be with son and grandsons. Visit our hometown of Kilmarmock every year staying at a different hotel every time! First time at the Piersland for a Wedding. This hotel ranks as the best so far and we have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years. Hope to return next year for our next visit! Fabulous staff, great food lovely room. Beautiful hotel in every way - ticks all the boxes! Thank you Piersland House!”
“The hotel is ideally situated on the outskirts of Troon. The Lodge room was comfortable and clean. The evening meal was nice but fewer choices would probably improve the standard.”

“I merely asked, in the "Any special requirements" on the booking.com page for "I just want a nice room". Boy, = Did I GET a nice room. - The Honeymoon Suite, or the Sir Alexander Walker room. It was GORGEOUS. I had booked for one night, but each day as I got back at night, I asked if they could extend the stay and stayed for three, (would have stayed for four but a wedding party were arriving and had already booked that room). The staff were fun, as well as efficient, and My oh My, the Smoked Salmon/Scrambled eggs would take some beating anywhere. I SO enjoyed my stay there, including the in house meal on the first night, Scallops and Black Pudding - Goats cheese and Beetroot salad. Beautifully prepared and great service. I shall be back in a few weeks time, and would not consider staying anywhere else.”
