“Great eco lodge, staying in the jungle. We did a hike to the waterfall and had a great time! ”
“The owners here are a lovely couple and between them are on a mission to buy up the surrounding land and replant as many trees as they can. The rooms are spread out and are nice and private, its quite a rustic place but this is part of the charm. They offer a range of walks and hikes with local guides who are fantastic, Charles took us on the village tour and to the waterfall and we had a lot of laughs and he shared a lot of local knowledge and wisdom with us. The food also blew us away, it was amazing, we sticked with the Sri Lankan food but western alternative were offered. They suggest you plant a tree which we did and was a nice way to add something to a special place and get a taste of the conservation work that they are doing.”

“Really nice place. Very peacefull, away from the city, you almost only hear jungle sounds. The staff and gides are great. Staff is very helpfull and service minded. Gides are full of information about the plants and animals and birds. You can do some walks through the forest, beautiful scenery and lovely small villages. ”

“The rooms were simple, as you would expect from an eco lodge, but nicely designed and with a private bathroom. There was wifi in the common area that worked reasonably well (but then you don't go to an eco lodge because of the wifi.) The food was good. We had the choice between Sri Lankan or more European/Western style breakfast. There were several Sri Lankan options and we enjoyed all of them. The dinners were very delicious, especially the fish and the vegetable curry. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. We did two hikes with them.”

The Lodge is located in the middle of the jungle, ideal to disconnect from the crazy traffico of Kandy. The bungalow had all the comfort. The meals were among the best eaten during all our tour in Sri Lanka. Love every minute there!!”
“Very welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing food!!!! Location is remote at the top of a hill but you can get the local bus at the bottom into Kandy for 50 rupees. Takes about an hour. We saw deer, giant squirrels, parrots, frogs, lizards and stick insects. Peaceful place, great for walking and relaxing. Good internet in local areas. ”
