“This was our favourite pousada of this trip and one of the three best we have stayed in. It is a converted convent, the cloisters and gardens were quite beautiful and most peaceful. Our room overlooking the garden had a lovely feel and was spacious though not huge. The staff were very friendly and when I asked for an easy chair for our room it was provided very quickly. The building had many lovely areas to explore, a chapel, a former chapter house etc. It was very close to the centre of Beja.”
