“The staff at Promenade Park Hotel were young and delightful. They were very keen to help us in whatever way they could, even though English was not their main language. Breakfast was plentiful (you order the night before) and the rooms were fresh and clean. The aircon was an absolute essential in the hot Summer temperatures. The Shymkent Plaza is just down the road; there is a park with amusements across the road. The city red bus tour leaves from just around the corner. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance (a bit of a walk). The bed was comfy, the water in the shower was hot, the aircon worked well and the wifi was fast. We really enjoyed our three nights at this hotel.”
