“Perched high on a mountain side near Pinhao with wonderful views overlooking the Douro River. Comfortable public rooms in the lodge with simple but quiet sleeping rooms. Excellent dining room with attentive service. Make sure to arrive in the early afternoon for a tour of the winery facilities and afternoon wine tasting. Make reservations for the tour, dinner and if leaving early (9 AM) checkout in advance.”
“The facility is phenomenal. The Room was large and very well appointed with extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was also large and the products first class. The restaraunt was exceptional with a wonderful menu and excellent wine pairings. The wine is very impressive. Sent a case home”
