“It was a very comfortable room with a fantastic view of the harbour, so we were always going out on to the balcony to take photographs of huge container ships etc. The breakfast was 15 euros extra but was generous, we could always ask for more, and we were positively encouraged to make sandwiches for our lunch from what was left. In addition, the hotel was a 10-minute walk (through 2 parks) from the S Bahn Station (Altona), from where it was 10 minutes' ride to the centre of town.”
