“the bed was extremely comfy as was the pillows and the duvet was lovely. The breakfast was excellent plenty to eat all round you certainly dont go away hungry. staff were great and attentive nothing was to much trouble even when we asked for a cot when we got there they came up with one straight away with a good mattress and lovely blankets.The downstairs area is very nice very old and beamed with a massive log fire the breakfast area is lovely with very comfy chairs to sit on”

A modern style but still retaining the character of the old building. open beams, open fires etc. The rooms are perhaps a little dated but considering the price perfectly Ok. One can expect a warm welcome, god hospitality. decent food and ale. At the price, a very good choice”
