“We used the Red Lion as a base for visiting Sidmouth and the surrounding area. It is well situated on a bus route that connects with Sidmouth, a journey that takes about 20 minutes. We were able to travel into Sidmouth for an evening meal and get back again without difficulty. We were met by friendly people who showed us to our room and explained everything. The room was cosy and well equipped. It had en suite facilities that met our needs well. We enjoyed our full English breakfast which was cooked to order.”
