“An charming country house hotel in a very beautiful, quiet location. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You definitely felt that you were being welcomed into their home. The room and indeed all of the facilities were always very clean and both the breakfast and dinner (a fixed menu each night cooked by the host) were excellent.”

“This is a brilliant small hotel located in the countryside near Citta della Pieve. The family owners are very hands on and provide a high quality personal experience, We had a suite which was very comfortable with a very nice balcony. The breakfast was excellent with cooked dishes (if required) to order. Dinner was also excellent and good value, as was the wine list. We stayed for a week during which the menu changed and some nights there were 'specials' - we had dinner in the hotel six out of seven evenings and did not feel it was repetitive.”

“Op onze eerste reis door Umbrië boekten we een hotel in Citta della Pieve. Aankomend over een landweg stonden we stil voor de smeedijzeren poort. Aanbellen en we konden het domein binnenrijden. Van dat moment tot vertrek werden alle wensen vervuld en zintuigen bevredigd. Zááálig! Een persoonlijk en vriendelijk ontvangst door heer en vrouw des huizes en begeleid naar onze kamer, in de vroegere kapel. Mooie tuin, rustig zwembad. In het landhuis heerst een gemoedelijke sfeer, decoratie met oog voor detail. En dan betreden we het terras met een schitterend uitzicht over het bos tot de volgende Toscaanse heuvels. Elke avond bescheen de ondergaande zon dit landschap in meerdere kleuren. Ondertussen was het ook genieten van de aangeboden Prosecco, een heerlijk diner bereid door "mamma" en de juiste wijntoets. Om terug te keren!”

“Quando si dice viziati e coccolati, riassetto della camera 2 volte al dì, bacio perugina tutte le sere con augurio della buonanotte, materasso super comodo e lenzuola fresche di bucato, a disposizione tutto per l'igiene, accappatoi ed asciugamani sofficissimi e idromassaggio, presenza di una elegante spa, tranquillità e quiete assoluta, panorama indescrivibile, camera molto ampia, terrazzo favoloso, accoglienza familiare sia dai proprietari che dai loro amici a 4 zampe, tutto a disposizione anche nelle parti comuni, colazione con ampia scelta sia dolce che salata con prodotti locali e caserecci, cena superlativa e romantica da ristorante super stellato! È un posto che resta sicuramente nel cuore! Assolutamente indimenticabile!”
