“The room was lovely with rear access to a decked area which made it great for our elderly dog. The separate sitting area gave the accommodation a spacious feel and the small fridge was useful. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there was a relaxed, informal atmosphere. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, the food was excellent as was the service. One thing to watch for you brits reading this, if one of you choses cheese and the other desert, ask for them at the same time, otherwise the desert won't arrive until the cheese has been eaten!”

“Charming hotel, I loved our room "Tristan" in the old part of the Clos, I liked the old furniture, its huge windows and the view. We also tried a room with terrace in the new part of the building -they are spacious and very nice and you can directly access the pool but I preferred the other room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner menu they serve at the restaurant was very good. We felt very welcome traveling with our big dog, everybody was so nice to him!”
“Very, very friendly and helpful owners. The Hotel is in a very quiet zone behind a church with a wonderful view from a hill to the sea. Good breakfast, top dinner, wellness, pool... you feel like home! You walk 5 minutes to the museum, and 6 minutes to Chez Fanch, a well known seafood-restaurant by the citizens of Doun.. We like this town.”
