“Location was good for Portsmouth and Norfolk as ferry points for Norfolk were nearby (five minutes walk). Bar open was open late in the evening for food and drink. Bar food was good. Checking in and out was fine. Valet parking wasn't too expensive. Good view from our room of the harbour and waterfront.”

“Staying at the Waldorf Astoria was an item on my bucket list until I stayed at the Renaissance. The customer service was excellent. The view from my room was breathtaking. I grew up in Portsmouth, but decided to be a tourist on this visit. It was easy to do a walking tour of downtown from the hotel. The ferry drop off was right next door. It was an excellent stay.”
