“The bedrooms were much smaller than expected/advertised, although very pretty and clean. The location is great for walking around Penang - the maps at the reception were very useful. There is a coffee shop at the front of the hotel that serves ice cream and coffee which is really nice.”

“Rooms were comfortable, and modern (not as big as the photos may suggest) - we definitely liked the shower room and the room finishing - and was modern and clean. Perhaps consider giving slippers as well - as the floor can get dusty etc. As it was our joint-birthday, they did make some very nice touches to the room, which we were very appreciative off. The MerryMe cafe is very quaint ... and service is good. Very nice desserts - but you may get bitten by the resident mosquitoes - so make sure you wear repellent if staying in the lobby, breakfast or the cafe area (on the second floor). The breakfast was adequate, met our needs. Simple and pleasant - bit standard, nothing too special, but met our needs.”
