“Stunning location with magnificent views over the mountains, and a short walk through bamboo forest down to the river. Flowers everywhere and an amazing range of butterflies. My son was happy to have the pool which was very clean and beautifully set within the garden. This is good value for money if you want a tranquil, beautiful setting off the beaten track.”

“Perfect luxury. You should have a taxi to get there, it's a little out of town, but taxis are really cheap in China. The location has some great views. Lovely and quiet. The pool is a real treat as the weather was v hot in July. Staff very helpful, English pretty functional. Food quite good.”
“Chinese food was good. Western food was not good: too simple. The family room was great. Quite a large room with a bit privacy because their was a small wall. We liked that and our teenage daughters too! Bathroom was fine. Large balcony with two nice chairs. The whole accommodation was nice looking and we would certainly go there again. Nice staff.”
“Excellent a/c in the rooms - necessary in summer! The restaurant downstairs was good, i especially liked the banana shake and fried noodles. You can rent a bike and bike down maybe 5-10 mins to the dock, take a 2 yuan ferry to get to the other side of the river and downtown Yangshuo. I found that biking the first day made me so sore I couldn't do it the second day, so I walked the second day which was also very doable (if only it werent around 100 degrees!)”
