“Obviously a really great location. The morning and evening views across the lake are breath taking, photos capture and illustrate some of this. It's a pretty quiet and peaceful location. Boat rides and walking around the village is quite nice. Getting here is pretty easy, there's a train station about 10mins walk away, about 1.5-2.5 hours from Colombo depending on the train you manage to catch. Most of the staff were very friendly. Some of them did put a bit of effort adding special touches. Full filling my request for local bread and coconut sambol for breakfast was on, getting creating with the bed setting and dinner by the river were others. These things make a difference. I have recommended this place to several friends already.”
