“The buffet breakfast is exquisitely presented. There is a good selection of pastries, cereal and fruit. The baked apples are wonderful. On the weekend, they also serve scrambled eggs and bacon. The cappuccino is very good.”
“Lovely hotel in great location in Montiriggioni (which is tiny anyway). We stayed here as part of our walk down the Via Francigena and it was probably the most comfortable hotel of our trip. Guy on reception was very welcoming when we arrived and room great with good views over the city walls and over he countryside. Nice place to stay!”
“Excellent location inside a midieval castle built in 1215. Also excellent breakfast.”
“location and breakfast terrace nice quiet and relaxing.”
“All the staff were fantastic. Friendly and really helpful. The location is excellent , right in the middle of beautiful little Monterrigioni walled town., with it's own quiet and secluded garden. It's great to be there at night when most of the day trippers have left.”
“All very good for the price we paid. Pretty garden, gorgeous village with eateries to walk to.”
“The whole experience staying in this hotel was amazing! The staff, accommodation and facilities were second to none. Our favourite hotel in Italy so far. We will definitely go back.”
“Very friendly staff. Fantastic location. Lovely lobby and lounge and also breakfast patio with beautiful garden. Although the pool was very small it was kept very clean.”
“The location is within a walled village, about 15 minutes by car or taxi from Siena. Rooms are a/c and comfortable, quiet, clean and have all modern conveniences, Buffet Breakfast has cereals, fruit juices, delish croissants, fab conserves, fresh coffee, cheese, parma ham, fruit, etc. taken on the terrace or inside. Their swimming pool is very welcome reprieve from a busy and warm day. Staff are very friendly and helpful and reception staff speak English. I can recommend Romantic Hotel, Monteriggioni to anyone without any hesitation. Hans”
