“Family-run hostal with excellent home cooking by Jenny, Ecuador music after dinner by Fernando, and a clean, comfortable stay. Not fancy but intimate hostel located right near Cotopaxi where one can hire transport to inside the park. We also got a private car straight to our hotel in Quito afterward (1 hour 15 min). Not cheap but no need for bus or transfers at the bus terminal in south Quito. Did I mention the wonderful view of Cotopaxi from the upper deck, and the pet llama and puppies? Nice family - muchas gracias! Close to Panamerican highway in Chasqui. Excellent way to see Cotopaxi NP. We had double bed room sharing bathroom and it was fine.”

“First of all this was the most amazing place I've ever stayed in in Ecuador. The staff is awesome! They cater to all your needs beyond expectations. They make sure that you are comfortable and happy all of the time. The food at the restaurant is "delicioso", prepared with so much care and enthusiasms. The hostel took us on a trip to Cotopaxi volcano, and the guide was extremely knowledgeable, informative and patient. The rooms are great and quite warm for the cold nights at Cotopaxi. The staff made a fire for us to keep warm and surprised us with a warm "caneleza" and a demonstration of the traditional Cotopaxi instruments. An experience I will never forget!”

“Lovely homely feeling to the place, very clean all throughout, beds v comfortable and warm, shower is hot. Best thing about this place is the FOOD, Jenny’s cooking is so wonderful, it was really the most delicious food I had in Ecuador. Please try the trucha (trout)!!! Also Fernando is an excellent musician which I didn’t know until the last night of my trip! They also offer excursions to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa with the very experienced and knowledgeable guides Francisco or Diana. Everyone is also so helpful! V cute dogs too.”

Lovely, friendly staff - they showed us some South American instruments and looked after us when we felt the effects of altitude sickness. Very good food in the hotel's restaurant. We really enjoyed our time there!”
