- Please note that with effect from 1 September 2017, a tourism tax issued by the Malaysian government will be imposed per room per night, to be paid directly to the property. “New, clean and comfortable. OK so it is a bit out of town - but it is in Kubota Square which is fast becoming a fantastic area for new restaurants of all types - including a great pasta restaurant. It is new and funky. Very comfortable beds and reasonably priced. This will be my new hotel of choice in Tawau. It was definitely time for something new. They don't have a restaurant but as I say there are cafes and others eateries very close. Most importantly they have good, free wifi in the rooms.”
