“Great location to the city and right on the botanic gardens which is lovely for a stroll around. Four of us stayed as we were coming to the Gabba, you can easily walk to Southbank and to the cricket grounds themselves. Cannot fault the location or the service. The hotel is classically decorated and even has a fire and sofas in the reception area. Nice comfy beds and very clean. The pool and hot tub with a bar outside was an added bonus after a long day. Great value for money for a long weekend so would def. recommend.”

“A step back in time, with all the decor, etc., but enhanced beautifully by the excellent service provided by the staff. This hotel gets it. The right amount of nostalgia underpinned by technology, great food, cleanliness and happy staff. We were very impressed. We think any age group would enjoy staying here and with the beautiful Botanical Gardens across the road it’s a perfect place for a healthy launch into the day. Highly recommended.”
