“Great accomodation in a wonderful wooden traditional building in front of the Monastery. The staff is young, friendly and very professional. The rooms are spacious with beauiful interior decoration, as the bath room is large and equipped with quality bath products. In the evening is possible to choose the menu of breakfast for the day after and XXX has managed to satisfy every request we made, fruit salad, different kind of bread, real orange juice (I never found it neither in 5 stars hotel in this travel....) and not last those great sweet pastries (vetrushka). I think I'll not forget those breakfast.... I hardly leave such positive reviews (everyone can see my reviews) but I really was impressed with this small boutique hotel. Many thanks to the concierge!”
“We loved the friendly staff. The receptionist took time to give us a walk through of our room and tell us a bit of the history behind the lovely decor. The crib that requested came withbthe cutest baby bedding and they even had kid sized robes for our little one. The rooms here all decorated individually as per a talented Russian writer or musician. We stayed in the Kupin room. Some of the other rooms include the Rachmaninov and shalyapin. We loved all the russian details in the decor and architecture of the hotel and restaurant. The music in the bathroom was an extra lovely touch to prepare you for a day of site seeing and the breakfast was hearty and delicious!”

“I have never met a friendlier hotel staff, simply amazing. Makes you want to stay! We had the opportunity to see many rooms, which are all in the style of a different Russian artist. Really wonderful, like a fairy tale for grownups! Music in the toilet, attention for the smallest details, everything clean and beautiful. Two great restaurants at the property too, with an amazing breakfast included and great lunch/dinner.”
“The hotel is situated right in the centre of the town in front of the monastery. It's small and have only few rooms. It's surely one of the best hotels I've stayed in !! Each room is decorated in its own way. I stayed in Chekhov room - there were photos & paintings, some books of Chekhov and even gramophone. There were tea kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The bad was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Wi-fi was free and fast. Bathroom was spacious, clean and well-equiped. All equipment was new and work well. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent !! You should choose between 3 sets. Each set has few different and really tasty dishes. You can have it in the restaurant on the ground floor (with a view of Lavra) or it can be served in your room.”

“Во-первых, это очень красивые номера, придуманные и воплощённые людьми , обладающими потрясающим вкусом. Все создано с любовью и уважением к гостям. Было очень приятно и комфортно, продумано всё до мелочей. Мы жили в самом романтичном номере Рахманинов. Потрясающе, до сих пор под впечатлением!!! Особая благодарность Марии за маленькую экскурсию по отелю, посмотрели почти все номера!Очень красиво, все как на фотографиях! Также нужно отметить замечательные завтраки, очень вкусные разнообразные, отлично приготовленные! Прекрасный кофе и чай, замечательная подача! Ресторан русской кухни Русский Дворик великолепен, пообедали и поужинали при свечах, очень вкусно все, что заказывали! Очень приятно, редко так бывает, совершенно прекрасное место!”
