“The pool was very good and value for money accommodation. The location is nice with view of the paddy fields and trees nearby the pool. We were with a foreign visitor and he appreciated the wildlife we could see and space to walk around. Hope the owners keep up the facilities and not cut down near by forest (was told they have control over it). Monkeys and peacocks could be seen with plenty of birds and butterflies. The breakfast was served by friendly staff and the younger person at the reception was very professional.”

“The owner Ranji was very warm and welcoming. There was a wedding during or stay and he informed us in advance and was very considerate. On the wedding day, he showed me round the venue before the wedding party arrived as I was intrigued.The hotel grounds are very grand and some lovely views - lots of places to sit outside and relax.The pool is nice, and the owner switched the pool light on for me after sunset to I could have a evening swim. There are some funky multicoloured lights.There was a spare bed in the room which meant we could let our baby sleep in there, with some make shift borders!The Sri Lankan breakfast was a very nice start to the day!We had dinner one night which was delivered to our room, and this was delicious - there is a good cook working here, we were impressed.”

“Located very close to Mihintale junction, it has a spacious garden with ample space for parking. The room was spacious and fairly good even though some furniture need repairing. The Mini-Fridge was a very useful addition to the room. The swimming pool was very nice. Breakfast was tasty and filling.”

“This property was so bad. Facilities are very bad. Doors and not sealed and you can put finger through. Bathrooms and room is very smelly. The owner of the property does not know how to talk to a customer. From the time we reached their he was asking us to leave in the morning and telling there is a booking next day. As per rule we can stay till 12. It was horrible.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were well looked after. The host upgraded us as well to a beautiful view room which was a nice suprise. The pool facilities were great and the hotel also offers free use of their bikes. We were keen to stay another night and the staff tried their best to accommodate us despite the hotel being fully booked.”

“Saji, one of the owners of the place, picked us up from the airport, while his dad Raji welcomed us with a cool towel and a fresh juice. We directly felt at home in Mihintale! The bungalow is beautiful and very clean and the swimming pool is right next to it :) You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the place and so we did:) All of the meals were delicious. Raji and Sami arranged several trips for us and all of them were amazing. Special recommendation: Make sure to go to Wilpattu National Park for a safari, we loved it! Sweet greetings from us to Raji, Saji and of course Gesandi!”

“Nice place, really value for money. Two property owner brothers (Sajith & Samira) are very cooperative and friendly. Meals are delicious and reasonable. Well kept hotel garden provides ample parking. Since this is very closer to Anuradhapura (15 minutes drive) and within walking distance to Mihinthale temple and archeological site, this is a great place to stay and spend your holiday”

The hotel serve fruits, eggs, toasts and tea or coffee for the breakfast - included in the price. The pool is just amazing with stunning views. The place is very close to Anuradhapura.”
