“The location is magnificent, the views lovely, the staff phenomenal, including especially Antonio, the chef, Frederica who does everything and Emilio on the front desk. But the other staff who worked at breakfast were also lovely and so service oriented. The food is exceptional. We ate at the restaurant twice for dinner and Antonio puts so much love and care into his food. The grilled polpo and the anchovies were the best we ever had. The prices are so reasonable and there is a very good wine selection. The owner was on site every morning and the smell of croissants wafts through the hotel to your room. They are served warm at breaskfast, one of the best I ever had. And I was later told that the owner bakes them himself! Breakfast is served outside looking at the sea. So calm and relaxing. So much care goes into every detail. The staff really cares. There is also a private beach and a beautiful sitting area outside.”
“We found the San Francesco resort one of the best accommodation places on our trip in Italy. This boutique family run hotel was perfect for our needs. The family were just lovely, very obliging and spoke good English. The room spotless with fantastic views. The location perfect, close to town, but away from any noise perched high on a hill. The food and coffee was just fantastic. The dinner in the restaurant at night was superb with excellent first rate service. Breakfast was huge and delicious. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.”
