“The staff here were so friendly and helpful which made for a really easy stay. Interesting decor but the building is very old and the excellent bathroom made up for rather loud colour scheme in the room!Gave our little dog a fantastic welcome; her own meal delivered to our table as we ate, she loved it! Hotel in a lovely, quiet street with parking( free) outside. Easy, short walk into town through the palace park. Very generous breakfast and so much choice. Only downside really is that they don't take credit cards so need to be prepared for that. Good for a one night stay.”

“Stayed 2 nights here in April. Very quiet and peaceful location, close to train and the palace. Beautiful old restaurant/hotel/guest house build in 1685. Had 2 separate rooms (one large, one small) with adjoining large bathroom, which was perfect for us. Bathroom was so clean the glass shower enclosure was almost invisible (excellent hot shower). Breakfast was a vast spread of fruit, pastries, meats, eggs/bacon, cheeses, cereals, breads, juice/tea/coffee/chocolate. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and had excellent salads, pasta and the best ice-creams I've ever had. Thank you to our hosts for being so nice and friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely return.”
