“Return visit and we were not disappointed. One or two new additions to the pool areas from my previous review. Facilities are very good with variety of temperature pools, saunas and steam rooms. Massages can be arranged via reception. Staff are efficient and friendly, the breakfast selection very varied with a wide selection of breads. Omelettes are available too. We did not take the dinner option this time but believe it still to be six courses some of which have options that can be chosen each morning at breakfast. The town centre is a ten minute walk away and there are a few restaurants to chose from our favourite being the Delikaterie. The surrounding area is lovely, rolling hills and woodland. There are plenty of walking routes available, a map can be obtained from reception. If that is too healthy every day the Zotter chocolate factory is 30 minutes away by car and has great tours available with plenty of tasting opportunities. Altogether highly recommended!”

“The outdoor pools (one heated and one not heated, one whirlpool, looking exactly like in the images!) were fantastic to relax. The hotel is in an area that invites to hiking with its nice vineyards and castles and the entrance to several hiking trails is just in Bad Gleichenberg. It was possible to take a packed lunch for hiking instead of attending the buffet lunch at the hotel. The food, especially the 6 course dinner, was a dream! Possible additional wellness program like different kinds of saunas or massages can be purchased additionally. The hotel has special focus on wellness experience for couples, e.g. couple sauna with arabian nights theme, or two romantic rooms with whirlpools. The private room was also romantic and spacious.”
