“The front desk staff looking after me during my stay were very helpful. There is a resturant attached to the hotel, which had a good selection on the menu. I found the meal I choose to be good, tasty. If you stay for 2 days or more a day card to use on bus' and trains is available.”
“Lovely hotel - road in front of separating from lake and rail track behind - but not enough noise to disturb. Booked two rooms with lake view - both lovely and spacious - one had balcony which was lovely to sit on in the am. Didn't eat meal at night as arrived too late - but ate breakfast which was fresh and plentiful. We stayed in Aug - so obviously out of main snow tourist season but hotel was geared up for people to ski in and out of and could imagine it as a great location. Would recommend and certainly would stay there again.”
“The location was superb, with a wonderful view of a small lake (swimmable-in), and forested hills. There are lovely walks starting straight from the hotel. The nearby village is easily walkable for alternative restaurants, or basic provisions from one of the bakeries and the Shell garage. A car (or longer legs) is needed to get to the Lidl supermarket. To get the train is a pleasant 20 mins walk through woods. The proprietor and staff were welcoming and helpful and all spoke good English. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent.”
“Seehof was in a lovely location overlooking a lake surrounded by a forest of trees. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food and was very popular. Although close to a main road and trainline, this didn't affect our stay in any way and at night it was quiet and peaceful. We stayed for one night and it couldn't have been better.”
“Perfect place, quiet, great staff. Too bad the restaurant closes early at 20:00, but I guess that is a common notion in Germany.”
