Important Notice
- If you are using a satellite navigation device, the shortest way from the B6 from the direction of Goslar is via the Wernigerode Nord exit. However, the property recommends that you take the Wernigerode Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Lindenallee. From Lindenallee, do not drive between the red and white bollards, but stay on the left-hand side and turn left again up the hill in order to get to the hotel.<br><br>Please note that a breakfast fee may be applicable for children ages 2 and under who stay in existing beds.

“Another lovely stay in this excellent hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and are happy to give any information about the facilities and the local area, which is beautiful. The centre of Wernigerode is only a few minutes walk away, as is the schloss, and both are well worth seeing. There are many interesting places that you can easily visit from here: the metre gauge steam railway (the Harzer Schmalspurbahn), the beautiful town of Goslar, the amazing mine at Rammelsburg, the wonderful church in Gernrode and the lovely town of Quedlinburg, to name but a few. There are some places further away to which you can easily drive as well: Leipzig, where the church in which JS Bach worked and is buried, Colditz Castle and Buchenwald are places that we visited. Many thanks to the proprietor of this hotel and his excellent staff for a wonderful stay!”
“Location was great, near to the town and castle. Staff on arrival were helpful and managed to locate me a kettle for making tea in the room. The room was large with a view over the town rooftops, clean and comfortable with decent breakfast to start the day. The Motorcycle was safely locked into the car park at night as they lock the vehicle access gates around 10pm. Cost was a little high but we decided to stretch our overnight into a great 2 night stay.”
