“The single room was compact but clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection especially loved the fresh fruit and coffee. Would have been good to have some hotel details in the bedroom. I didnt see a manager around during my stay, on arrival there was a festival (that i had not been made aware of) in Gorey so the place was very busy, on arrival i was just given my key asked to pay for my stay and told breakfast time. No help with bags or a proper welcome that was disappointing. On the first evening i noticed the kettle was not working however staff in the restaurant supplied me with a pot of tea late at night and the cleaner replaced the kettle in the morning. However the stay was fine, room nicely decorated and had a lovely outlook.”
