“Yes, it was a magical place. Not a big, very homely hotel with an excellent breakfast and a fantastic view of the lake. Very friendly, always ready to help, staff. We were very pleased with the attention to the dog: a bowl and a rug came in handly. Many thanks!”
“The hotel we had stayed in in Altaussee had closed, and we found Seehotel with Trip Advisor. We travel quite a lot, and our stay at Seehotel was one of the best we had experienced. The location by the lake is perfect. Room 12 has a balcony overlooking the lake (a bit more expensive, but worth it). The staff (generally in local costume) were all very pleasant and most spoke good English. The restaurant food was exceptionally good. We like the Steyrische Sazkammergut and will definitely be returning.”

“The location was fantastic! Nestled on the corner of the lake with ready access to walking/hiking trails and the lake ferry is a huge bonus. The view from our room was spectacular, you couldn't ask for a more quiet and cozy vacation spot than this. Friendly, professional and attentive staff went out of their way to ensure we were completely satisfied. The breakfast was amazing (and included)! Fresh fruit, a solid selection of eggs to order and a nice assortment of breads, meats, cheeses and fresh jams.”
