“It was a very quiet period at the hotel and still we got very good service. The place is right next to the beach. It is a bit removed from other hotels and restaurants but I quite liked it like that. A walking distance from a good selection of eating places. We walked to Tangalle town once, took maybe 30min. Nothing to complain about during our stay. Top tip: when arriving by tuk tuk or a car they will most likely take you to a place where the bridge used to be (taken by floods). From there you can walk if your bags are not too heavy, but there is also a road that goes straight to the hotel, just seems most drivers are not aware of it.”

“Rooms are very nice, property is very well taken care of and the staff is super friendly. They helped to arrange our trip to the national park and further on to Ella. Unfortunately you can't swim in front of the hotel, but tanning is good with sunbeds or hammocks to chill. You need to walk about 500m to the left on the beach to find the mangrove beach bungalows. They have kind of a natural swimming area protected by rocks. If you like walks on the beach then this is your hotel. Tangalle in September/October is not crowded at all and we were nearly alone in the hotel and beach most of the time. Really relaxing experience.”
