“the location is great, the view is excellent, hot spring is good too.”
“The room was quite shabby and extremely overpriced. Exiting the lift on our floor the carpet was very poorly laid. A bad impression on arrival. The wall paper in our room was bubbling and attempts made by using masking tape to repair this wear and tear just made the room look more ugly. Drapes required further Hook's. Lamp required new globe. Excessively noisy. Huge gap below door allowed this as well as hearing conversations from neighbours through walls. Bed and pillows very hard. ( I had been traveling for 3 weeks prior to staying here and had NO previous discomforts. Only one staff member, a male , was prepared and successful in hunting out a soft pillow for me.re the very hard bed, I slept on top of the bed clothes with the a/c turned up. Do the Japanese people accept this ? The view was stunning, but the view was also stunning at Hiroshima in a hotel which cost far less and was far superior with amenities, general ambience and comfort.”

“Fabulous location - on top of Mount Washuran commanding a 360 degree panoramic view of the Seto Inner Sea and Kojima / Kurashuki cities. Nice spacious room with a great view. Great Japanese breakfast with lots of fresh local fish. Friendly service especially at the Japanese restaurant, though most front desk staff couldn't communicate in English.”

“朝食は良かったが、夕食はbookinng時の情報不足で時間内に食べることができなかった。児島駅の近くには気の利いたレストランがないことが分かっていれば、bookinng時に夕食のお願いができたので、気の利いた夕食をしようと思われる方はホテルでの夕食をはじめから考えておいた方が良いと思う。夕食は街に出てコンビニ弁当とあきらめながら直接和食レストランへの電話で何とか若干遅い時間であったが、食事をすることができた。和食レストランのウエイトレス職員の対応は非常に良かった。”
